Nice!!! Lol totally opposite of what you thought was going to be in that pan. I've been looking into hard rock a little more lately it's super interesting. In Michigan we have an abundance of flower but also a few hard rock mines in the upper peninsula. Well..... Looks like you have some work to do

I've been playing around with the Old Mouldy pancake gold pan at home using stream gravels and sand I brought back home from previous fossicking trips. I tested its performance against my small pan using the same dirt and various screen classifications. The pancake pan was significantly and consistently faster and better at retaining the heavies, including gemstones. The small size is useful since it can be operated using one hand while continuously feeding dirt with the other hand. It will be a welcome addition to my backpack.

I like the thumbnails with information but some of us aren't speed readers and I have to pause the video to read it all. Keep up the good work

You know Chris I love your channel and everything you do but that flat pan just don't get it for me traditional pans do it for me old Japanese pan the modern pan I'm not convinced on the flat pan so I will just stick to what I've been using for years hope everything works out for you with a flat pan I could be wrong but you I believe in you as a prospector

Ooh I got like number 567...8 got you I like the idea of the batea pan, I remember as a kid playing around with various kitchen implements and a funnel that when presented with sand and swirled around would find my toy soldiers and bits of toy cars I had smashed up ...yes I was that kid...I forget how I worked it out, probably saw some one doing something similar lol
